Everything About Her Was A Lie

She walked onto the stage just like any other night, the character took over. As she ended her performance the character was left behind. In the dressing room before make up and costume were disposed of, replaced by jeans and t shirt, Vance excepted congratulations and flowers, a glass of wine, gave interviews, chatted with friends and fellow actors. Vance walked through the streets, the night sky spilled rain. Everyone had asked after her handsome husband, his glittering career, her beautiful talented children. one woman had been brave enough to question why no one had met her family. were her parents here tonight? Vance had discovered the woman an independent journalist and felt she was trouble. Vance had covered her tracks well all these years, now everything could be destroyed. Vance made herself a promise that night.
