I forgot what it was
to have fun
until it was explained
to me by my son.
Life doesn’t always
have to be serious,
you have to take a time
out to feel a little delirious.
Laughing out loud lifts
a weight off your chest,
it’s the best medication
to help you de-stress.
Try and take time
for fun in your day,
get up out of your chair
when your child wants to play,
take inspiration from
their joyous smiling faces
and you will be surprised
by how much better it is
then the feeling it replaces.
