Reminiscence

Some memories are good,
Some are bad.

Some make me laugh
And want to travel back in time
And stay there forever.

Others make me cry
When they creep out of the depths of my mind,
Where I had stored them long ago.

And then there’s that one.
The one that makes me smile sadly
And want to go back as well as forget.

I hope someday I realize

That although memories don’t change,
People do!
