What Most People (Especially My Father) Don’t Understand Is That We Have Different Opinions About Life

So let me tell you about my dad. He is the religious type, the one that quotes the Bible in their conversations every now and then. He is a man of faith, specifically a Methodist. Well, I used to be a Methodist too, but let’s just say I grew up and realized ton of shit that completely changed me…and let’s just leave it at that — because apparently my father is still not happy and comfortable with it.

He really lost it when I told him that I wouldn’t go to church ever again. And that was exactly after my third year of highschool.
He did not take it nicely… but I don’t think ‘not taking it nicely’ is even close to how he reacted. Here is the thing, when it comes to my parents, you don’t tell them what you think you know to be right and expect that…

  1. Many have the problem to analyze other’s opinions…. Its better not to explain things to those who don’t understand us….
