Shame Did A Great Number On Me

Most times it’s not fear that keeps us silent and make us give up on what we really desire.
Most times it’s shame. And it goes way deeper.
It’s easier to talk about it, but deep inside, in our darkest corners, it just amplifies the fear and we coil in the dark.

You know we rarely talk about it, I mean… shame; we just brush over it.
But the truth is we go through life alone in our heads and we sort of have an idea of life and people through the experiences we’ve had- which is not always good. We have expectations and, most times when we look at the social expectations imposed on a certain identity with certain capacity, we judge ourselves so hard that we lose sight of how much damage we’re doing to ourselves.
