When I lay in my bed at a lonely summer night
I catch myself counting sheep
But I see the things I fear the most
Waiting for me to fall asleep
I see them waiting
Paitiently waiting for a chance
But I have to stay awake
Before the monsters start to dance
My head gets heavy
My eyelids fall down
But I have to stay awake
Before I’m in a horror story with a smiling clown
My bed feels soft
I’m slowly drifting away
But I have to stay awake
Even if I have to beg and pray
I can’t take this anymore
I’m tired from head to toe
I cant stay awake anymore
So here I go…
