Regret

What is it that you feel

you should have had?

More reasons to be happy

and none to be sad.

Life has passed by

without you taking part

now you are left to wish

it was a false start.

What would you change

if you could go back

to the beginning?

To grab life by the horns

and take your chance

of winning.

To open your eyes

and let the world in

and to realise that

being happy is not a sin.

  1. Hey, have you ever thought of somehow publishing any of these ‘poems’? (I.e magazine, news paper, town paper, a composition of some in a book….) They are really inspiring and very well done. A lot of people’s, need to hear the things that you have to write— out side the WordPress community!

    1. Thanks again, I published a book in December, titled The 50 year old poet which is available on Amazon. Book 2 is just about completed!!

      1. Oh wow! I am sure it will get a lot of love. I’ll try and find the book at my library. I love writing poems, sonnets and such; so your book will surely inspire me so much!! (I like to find sentences and stories in the Bible and turn them into my own Poem stories. Super fun and creative.) keep up the good work man, you inspire us all!
