Fame

Fame or infamy

it does not matter,

though many

would prefer the latter.

Fifteen minutes

is a lifetime,

all that is required

is a second of primetime.

Machiavelli

behind the scenes

living off

other people’s dreams.

Talks up

their expectations

just to mute

their celebrations.

Reality has lost

its meaning,

all together now

with more feeling.

    1. Thank you, I published my first collection in December. The title of the book is The 50 year old poet, and it contains over 150 of my poems. It is available on Amazon. I have just finished my second collection and I am looking at March or April for it to be published. Thanks again for your kind words, they mean a lot.
