Fear

I could not

go to school today

just did not

want to face my bully.

Thoughts came

of hiding away

until I could

explain it fully.

Everyday the

taunts are sung

as if it was

just a game.

Then in time

the fists are flung

as I try

to hide my shame.

People just

stand and stare

and let it

take its course.

They don’t

seem to care

which only

makes it worse.

Do not know

how this will end

as no one

will listen to me.

What kind of

message does it send

when adults

cannot agree.

  1. Your poem is great. I recommend you to give Faydee’s ‘Unbreakable’ a hear. It’s very much on a similar concept. I hope you will give it a few minutes.

  2. Reminded me of my school days and also some places where I have worked. Thank goodness I am now free.

    1. Hopefully these days people are a lot more aware of it.

      1. People are more aware of it but sadly it still continues in the world.
