Who can mend a rusty heart
that lost its shine in years so hard
shone like brass or even gold
but lost it all in brownish mould
Takes quite more than lambswool flannel
a steelbrush with hardwood handle
given that it’s still a heart
every try is worth a start
Hearts can break and hearts can rust
a broken heart is hard to mend
to brush the rust is worth the end
