Goodbye coffee

Goodbye my friend

I’ll miss your fragrance

Pulling me from my slumber

Charging me up for the day

Strong and bitter coffee bean

Laced liberally with French vanilla

Crystallized sugar cubes hop right in

We had a sweet love affair

Now it’s time to call it quits

It’s not you, it’s me, I promise

My pallette will adapt without you, coffee

Very true. I feel like it’s part of being an adult.

      1. I don’t use labels here, I know a lot of adults that don’t act their age… 🙂 I believe that life is about each if us gathering knowledge about ourselves, our dreams and feelings and learning to live a life filled with changes and challenges… 🙂

“Life is a process of becoming… a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.” Anais Nin
