my day begins
the dawn darker
the colder the night
the more exposed the skin
the mind and soul
wrapped in my heart
I can still see the innocence in me
yet I wear a mask of hardness
upon my face
during the day when I get my rest
I feel the warm sunlight
caressing me like
an old lover that I never had
as the clock strikes twelve
I leave my conscience behind
to step out in the night
dark became my pillar of strength
in exchange for a few hours
to feed my family of eight
for all the hands that
touched me
my heart remained
virgin!
Beautiful pictures andere words. .

I stopped judging when l got old enough to understand that not everyone who trades their body for a few bucks is doing it coz they’re immoral bt they’re doing it for survival …..emotional piece you wrote there
